The national flag of Montenegro.

This flag is based on the Serbian War flag used at the Battle of Kosovo (against the Turks) in 1389. That flag was used as the Montenegrin War Flag at the Battle of Vu?ji Do (against the Turks) in 1876. It then served as the flag of the Principality of Montenegro from 1876-1905.

In 1905 Montenegro adopted the Pan-Slavic Tri-Color. After the collapse of Yugoslavia, Montenegro was part of Serbia until seceding in 2004.

The current flag was adopted as the national flag of Montenegro in 2004.

3'x5' flags are 3ft x 5ft, 36in. by 60in, 91cm by 152cm, 1yard by 1.7yard. This is the most common size flag you see hanging on porches, small flag poles, hanging at festivals, and inside of bars and restaurants.
