Details: This is a 2'x3' swallowtail pennant.

Polyester flag with white header and two grommets. Most flags have four rows of stitches on the fly and two rows on the top, bottom, and header side. Image is screen printed and appears on both sides.

The 7th Cavalry was formed in 1866. It was used in multiple Indian wars as well as police actions in the south during reconstruction.

The unit still exists today and has fought in numerous wars.

Custer died, along with a large part of the 7th Cavalry at the Battle of Little Bighorn in 1876.
