The trident is the coat of arms of the Ukraine. The symbol is over 1,000 years old and appear son coins and seals as old as the 10th century.

It most likely represents a diving falcon, and was the symbol of the Slavic god Pershoboh. The symbol was Christianized and a sign of the holy spirit. It appears on bricks and tiles in old Ukrainian churches and Cathedrals.

It is called a "trident" by English speakers because the Ukrainian word for it is "Tryzub."

3'x5' flags are 3ft x 5ft, 36in. by 60in, 91cm by 152cm, 1yard by 1.7yard. This is the most common size flag you see hanging on porches, small flag poles, hanging at festivals, and inside of bars and restaurants.
